Roger has been involved with the ISM since 1984 and is responsible for managing and developing ISM’s business and internal organisation. He brings a commitment to positive change and he will be seeking to further develop the quality and responsiveness of ISM’s activity, as well as providing stability and renewal in a rapidly developing enterprise.

Thomas has a proven track record of building true partner relationships through being self-motivated, tenacious, consultative in his approach combined with a strong ability to influence and communicate at board level. Having worked with an extremely varied, high level client portfolio of multinational organisations and SMEs he has a varied skill set allowing him to work across many industry sectors with a real drive to deliver tangible results and revenue growth year on year. He is passionate about partner engagement and account development.

In his role as Corporate Account Director David is responsible for the management of ISM’s Corporate Partnerships and works closely with the Education team to guide and support our centres offering ISM qualifications. David has built over ten years Sales and Account Management experience within Education/ Corporate L&D Sectors working for both FTSE 100 and SME companies. He holds significant Project Management experience within the local authority sector working for Education Business Partnerships, helping Schools and local enterprise work together to drive work related learning strategies within Secondary Education. Dave’s success in the Sales Industry has led to his passion for ensuring Sales is recognised as a true Profession and   is a career path of choice supported by the highest levels of ongoing training and development.

Iain has been a member of the ISM for almost 30-years and is currently a Champion of the Institute (CISM) and Chair of the Scottish Regional Committee. Based in Central Scotland, Iain has over 35 years’ experience in various MD, Corporate and SME Sales Management roles within UK and Internationally. By profession Iain studied BSc Electrical & Electronic Engineering and worked in Broadcasting before moving into Technical Sales. Experience includes establishing European Sales Operations, Management of Agent & Distribution channels and subsequently development of a multi-$M Global and Scottish based Manufacturing Operation with over 120 employees. Iain is highly passionate about the Sales Industry and is seeking to further develop the Scottish Region member involvement.

Adam has overall responsibility for the planning, creation and delivery of marketing strategies to support the ongoing development and growth of the ISM across all markets using data & analytics to drive engagement. Since 2002 he has worked within Membership Bodies, Insurance, Digital Marketing Agencies and Financial Services – both at home and abroad. Prior to joining ISM, he was at The Institute of Risk Management, The British Bankers Association (now U.K. Finance) and TATA amongst others.

With a global membership reach Frances holds the position of Responsible Officer, the authoritative point of contact for the government qualification regulator Ofqual. She ensures the efficient and appropriate development, delivery, certification and high quality of sales qualifications designed particularly for sales people at all stages of their careers.

  • Prior to joining ISM, she has worked at for TNG developing and running training programmes for entrepreneurs and Whitbread PLC where she was Recruitment and Training Manager.

Susan has been with the ISM since 2005. She looks after our members from point of application, membership grading and payment, distributing of membership paraphernalia such as membership cards, certificates etc, right through to retirement.

Bej Shah has over 15 years of experience working in sales which he now brings to the Institute. Educated at City of London School, his first introduction into sales was pounding the streets of London selling gas and electricity for a UK provider before moving onto telephone sales. After working for Dial-A-Phone for 2 years, a colleague suggested his talents would be better suited to media sales.

After completing her GCSE’s, Dionne joined the ISM as a Business Administration apprentice within the education department. Three years on – having completed her level 2 and 3 NVQ Qualifications in business administration – she is now fully employed, and working within education providing centres with support and guidance.

Dee works for the ISM as the Office Administrator. Previously to joining the team she worked for Mouchel Management Consultancy in St James park as a senior receptionist.Dee has worked in a number of different industries which also include PR,  and sales promotion. She is here to assist and help colleagues whenever necessary, and to deliver the best possible service  to our members.
