The British Excellence in Sales Management Awards (BESMA), is a highlight in the sales event calendar. With more than 700 attendees made up of sales professionals covering a wide range of companies and sectors it is the opportunity for the Sales Industry to come together to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of the individuals, teams and organisations who are all vying for one of the 18 prestigious BESMA trophies!
2019 not only saw the highest number of award nominations ever submitted for BESMA but we also had the most diverse list of finalists to date. This is greatly encouraging for the ISM and the sales industry as the Institute looks to the future in its mission to generate even greater levels of recognition and awareness, to promote participation in the awards and to ensure we identify and reward the best the sales industry has to offer every year.
As a profession, sales is often overlooked and BESMA provides a fabulous opportunity to publicly reward and recognise those companies, teams, and individuals on the frontline that drive the UK’s economy through their sales performance, professionalism and achievements. Held annually at one of London’s finest venues the night starts with a champagne reception to welcome guests followed by a three-course Dinner and then the awards themselves and concludes with live music and entertainment.
Past BESMA hosts include former England Rugby International and British Lion, Martin Bayfield, Dara Ó Briain, Jack Dee and Jimmy Carr who have all helped to provide fantastic amusement and entertainment throughout the evening.
