Press Release: Medicash announce new partnership with the Institute of Sales Management (ISM)
Leading health cash plan provider Medicash have teamed up with the ISM to provide professional recognition of their sales team’s existing experience and ethical approaches to providing healthcare insurance.
To achieve this, Medicash have become an ISM Corporate Partner committed to offering ISM membership to their sales force, along with the opportunity to contribute to their ongoing learning and development through the ISM’s Professional Sales Certification process.
Professional Sales Certification allows sales people to progress through the ISM membership tiers by completing a learning journey which requires evidence of key sales competencies to be assessed and developed. Feedback gained from an initial Sales Skills Assessment, benchmarked against sales professionals globally, will enable the team to identify their strengths and areas for development supported by a wealth of learning resources accessed through the ISM’s Learning Management System.
Members of the Medicash sales team who excel through the journey will be nominated for the ISM’s annual British Excellence in Sales Management Awards (BESMA) to be held at the Grosvenor House Hotel on October 26th to further recognise their achievements throughout the year.
2018 will also see many regulatory changes in the industry, including the introduction of the Insurance Distribution Directive which requires staff who sell, advise or transact insurance contracts to complete a minimum 15 hours of continuing professional development per year.
