Miller Heiman Group (MHG), the leader in sales performance solutions, and the Institute of Sales Management (ISM), the UK’s largest professional body for salespeople, have announced a new partnership, focused on raising the value of sales.

Miller Heiman Group, the global leader in sales performance solutions, and the Institute of Sales Management, the UK’s largest professional body for salespeople, are delighted to announce an exciting new partnership, which will see the two companies collaborate to improve the standard of sales learning.

The new partnership will see Miller Heiman Group become an ISM Approved Training Partner, and the Institute of Sales Management has also provided Professional Body external validation for MHG’s training products and services, recognising the company for achieving the highest standards of service and delivery.

One of the most exciting aspects of the new partnership is the fact that the Institute of Sales Management and Miller Heiman Group share many of the same core values and objectives. Both organisations aim to raise the value of sales, promote and recognise excellence, improve overall sales effectiveness, operate with ethics and deliver the very highest standards when it comes to service and learning.

Miller Heiman Group is an industry leader, providing business performance solutions, including sales and customer service training products, based on innovation and technology, which are designed to improve the performance of frontline sales, sales consulting and sales management professionals.

The company’s research provides clear evidence for the need for improvement within sales. In fact, according to CSO Insights, the research division of MHG, just 53 percent of salespeople attained quota in 2017, representing a 10 percent decline in quota attainment over the past five years.

Raising the Value of Sales

The ISM provides government approved qualifications, which are relevant to the practice and methodology of sales management, whatever country, industry or organisation you work in. “They are based on principles which set out the knowledge, skills and behaviours expected of competent sales professionals”.

In 2018, Miller Heiman Group will host many Be Ready Workshops & Events, including the Sales Leadership Series, which will bring together sales leaders, sales researchers, sales trainers and sales consulting experts, to highlight the importance of delivering value that really matters to customers.

This focus on delivering value within the sales industry will be one of the cornerstones of the new partnership.
