The ISM’s North East regional group has ‘hit the ground running’ with a hugely popular and well-received relaunch event in Newcastle
The event – effectively a relaunch of the group – was a highly successful sell-out. It featured the guest presenter for the evening, Tony Wilson, founder and Chairman of Lifestyle Architecture, a brand that focuses on practical leadership and personal and professional development.
Tony shared his experiences in building an international business that is based in the North East of England, but operates in 234 cities in 16 countries around the world. He explained that Lifestyle Architecture is dedicated to “the art and science of designing the lifestyle you deserve and desire”. After 20 years, he said, “It is all about ‘legacy’ that has a clear and simple message based on our values. It’s about giving, serving others and loving what we do.”
It was an inspiring and highly interactive session that drew tremendous feedback from the packed audience. The attendees, a superb turnout from a wide variety of areas of the sales industry, were clearly fully engaged throughout.
Following the session, members took the opportunity to mingle with their sales industry peers. The ability to network in this way, share ideas and to learn from each other’s experiences is a hallmark of regional events, and a valued benefit of ISM membership.
Whatever level you are at in your sales career, there’s no doubt that the knowledge gleaned, and the connections made, at regional meetings will lead you to do more business in the future.
