The ISM firmly believes that our continued growth and development lies in a committed and ongoing partnership with our members. As such, one of the next exciting steps in expanding the Institute involves engaging with members on a local level to help us establish and run our ISM Regional Committees.
There is an untapped wealth of knowledge and experience that we would like to facilitate the sharing of amongst our members to enable not only a wider recognition for examples of great practice, but also to encourage the development of others by means of direct skills transfer through networking events and communication, which the Regional Branches will have direct responsibility for organising, as well as providing feedback to the main ISM Board.
You will receive notice of automatic affiliation to your nearest regional committee when you register, however, if you would like to become a member of a committee that is more convenient to you in terms of being closer to your place of work please let us know so that we can arrange that for you.
Our vision is for our Regional Committees to create an information sharing and communication network that will ensure that the skills, experience and professionalism of Members will be made available to others.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from individuals for nomination as the Chair, Member or Secretary of a Regional Committee, so if you feel that you have the time, passion and experience that you would like to share with your fellow members, please contact us today and let us know why you should be considered for a lead role.
